Another Year Older

I’m not one for big birthday celebrations. But, I am about experiences. This past weekend was completely amazing. It was packed with celebrations, friends and family. A year older and a year wiser. I say this because this weekend represented the exact reasons for life.

Surrounding yourself with the people you love and building experiences with them.

Last year, I was out backpacking the world and meeting people that I knew I may never see again. Nonetheless those experiences will forever be a part of me and will surely influence the years to come. I mean I often do think about those conversations and adventures, not with sadness but with a smile, knowing that everyday adventures can happen.

Just be open to them.

Age is really just a number and its what those years are made of that truly makes a person the way they are. I find myself thinking about life and a desire to go out and explore. Some of those moments are wasted thinking of too much and not doing much.

Cheers to my New Year and to the adventures, people and stories yet to come.
