2012 TravelCambodiaTravel Experience

Soaking in the Culture of Cambodia

It’s been an amazing time seeing the ruins of the temples of Angkor. But, I have to admit I am yearning to see an actual buddhist temple that isn’t in ruins.

Jae and I set out on a journey to find ourselves a pagoda and found ourselves lost wandering the dirt streets of Siem Reap. We decided we’d go exploring another day where we are a bit more equipped (as in having a map). We had no clue where we were going.

Headed back to the guesthouse and planned to eat some traditional Cambodian food and see an Aspara show. Aspara is their traditional folk mythology dance.

The show was amazing. The food was great.

Off to explore the night scene.

We walked around and had a few drinks in a variety of places.
