The Giant Puppet Parade

Jae and I decided to stick around Siem Reap to see what the big deal was about this Giant Puppet Parade which would take place in the Pub Street area.

Low and behold it was pretty emotional. Maybe it was the music and the singing, chanting and yelling of children that made it really emotional.

This Giant Puppet Parade is an annual event by many NGO (Non-Government Organizations) specifically helping children in Cambodia raise money for their charities. The kids of these various organizations create elaborate puppets and parade them through the streets of Siem Reap.
